THE STUDIO

A key part of my practice is my mobile print studio, which allows me to bring professional printmaking into community spaces, studios, schools, festivals and private events.

This is a fully equipped travelling setup, designed to deliver high-quality printmaking outside of a fixed studio environment. It includes portable presses and all the necessary materials to teach a wide range of processes, including relief printmaking (such as linocut, letterpress) and intaglio (such as drypoint, carton printing and collagraph).

One of the central elements of my mobile studio is a converted craft press, adapted into a portable etching press capable of printing up to A3. Alongside this, I also use a heavy-duty hand-operated relief press, suitable for printing on both paper and fabric. I also have a selection of Adana presses for mobile letterpress work. This means I can run fully professional, hands-on workshops in a variety of printmaking techniques, in a wide variety of settings, without needing a fixed print studio.

Alongside my mobile work, I also have a well-equipped home studio, where my Adana TP48 is a particular favourite for letterpress work. I also make use of studio spaces at Stirchley Printworks and Winterbourne Press, where I have access to larger specialist equipment when needed. This includes a range of professional presses for relief, intaglio and screenprint processes, which support both my own practice and selected teaching or demonstration work.
